REV COMPS
COOKIE POLICY
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on the website www.revcomps.com and any associated apps (the "Website"), how we use them, and how you can manage them. For information about how we use your personal data more generally, please see our Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms used but not defined here have the meaning given in our Privacy Policy.
1. INTRODUCTION
When you access or use the Website, we may collect information from your device through cookies and similar technologies. For simplicity, we refer to all such technologies as "Trackers" in this policy, and we use the term "cookies" only where we specifically mean that browser-based type of Tracker.
We use Trackers managed directly by us ("first-party" Trackers) and Trackers that enable services provided by third parties ("third-party" Trackers). We have no control over third-party Trackers, which are subject to the relevant third party’s own policies; please read these carefully.
Some Trackers are stored only for the duration of your browsing session, while others remain on your device between sessions so that we can remember your preferences. Some of the purposes for which Trackers are used require your consent, which you can withdraw at any time as described below. Strictly necessary Trackers do not require consent.
2. HOW WE USE TRACKERS
The Trackers used on the Website fall into different categories. For each category we set out the main Trackers we use, their provider, the place of processing and the types of personal data processed. You can view the full, up-to-date list, including the name and duration of each Tracker, in the cookie preference centre on the Website.
3. HOW TO MANAGE YOUR PREFERENCES AND CONSENT
Where our use of Trackers is based on consent, you can provide or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie preferences panel available on the Website (via the "Manage cookies" link in the footer of the Website). When you first visit the Website you will be presented with a banner allowing you to accept all Trackers, reject all non-essential Trackers, or manage your choices by category.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, which generally allow you to see what cookies are set, and to block or delete them. Instructions for the most common browsers are available here:
• Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge — see each browser’s help pages, and www.allaboutcookies.org for general guidance.
Please note that browser settings do not allow granular control of consent by category, and that blocking all cookies (including strictly necessary cookies) may prevent parts of the Website from working.
You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through industry tools such as YourOnlineChoices (www.youronlinechoices.eu), the Network Advertising Initiative (www.networkadvertising.org) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (www.aboutads.info).
You are free to decide whether to give consent. However, if you do not consent to certain Trackers, we may be unable to provide some features of the Website.
